 Rend Lake Fishing Report

Crappie fishing- Crappie fishing- good, using minnows and jigs. The fish are into there summer pattern and biting very good. We are catching crappie in 8-18 feet of water on brush, stumps, and stake beds.

Cat fish - Good, cut shad, "stink bait", and worms, drifting the flats, fishing the deep main lake river channels, and in the stumps. 

Bass- Good, worms, rattle traps, crank baits, Jig&trailer.  Fish around brush, bridges, lay downs, rip rap, weed beds, and drop off's.   

White bass- slow, Jig and curly tail grubs, inline spinners. Look for them on main lake humps,  drop offs and around the 154 bridges.  

Bluegill- Fair, Look in the back of necks and on flat shallow banks and on the rocks.  Fish shallow with crickets, worms or small jigs.
